Knitting Pattern Convertor
You’ve got a new pattern and some fabulous yarn but there’s a problem…
The yarn that you’ve chosen is completely different to the one used by the pattern and you can’t use the needle sizes suggested. Which means that the stitch and row gauges will be wildly different.
There’s only one thing you can do. Convert the pattern to work with your yarn’s gauge by determining the gauge conversion factors and then applying these at key points in the pattern.
You can either work it all out by hand. Or use the Knitting Pattern Converter which will try to do the maths for you.
