First, it was just for an hour or so in the evening. Then it started to take over the whole evening. Finally, K was back to waking up with bad pain some mornings and missing school on the really bad days.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Last week, we had a reoccurrence of the headaches. On Monday, he had to be given pain meds in school because of a bad headache. On Tuesday, he was sent home from school with a severe headache which continued into Thursday along with stomach pain. Thankfully, by Friday, he was well enough to go back into school and stay there for the whole 6 hours. What will happen over the next few weeks is anyone&#8217;s guess but at least the school holidays start on July 18.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the fact the the last pain holiday was the longest we&#8217;ve ever had, there has been one other positive change. Last week, K noticed that the pain meds were starting to reduce his back pain &#8212; which has never happened before.
