Recent Projects
I thought it was about time I listed some of my recently completed projects that used other people’s patterns.
Aran Cozy
Knitted with James Brett’s Denim with Wool (aran weight).
Finished Length: About 5 foot
Finished width: About 2 foot
Pattern: Knitty (Fall 2004)
Jellyfish Shrug
The main body was knitted using a dark green mohair yarn with the contrast band worked in Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk. It only took about 2 weeks to complete but I found the pattern on the sleeves quite annoyingly difficult to get to grips with. I’m really pleased with the final result, though. It’s been one of my favourite wardrobe items over the past few weeks.

Sweet Pea Shawl
I’ve recently started crocheting again and this was my fourth crochet project. Used about 300gms of Sunbeam 100% DK cotton yarn in a lovely shade of peach.

Crochet Scarf
As I had 100 gms of the peach cotton left, I decided to crochet a lace scarf. The pattern I chose turned out to be very easy and I was really pleased with the final result. So much so that I’ve since made a second one as a gift!
