Another Day… Another Scarf
Finished the Branching Out scarf last night. Unblocked length: 68 inches. It’s now drying but I’ve opted for a very light blocking as I want it to drape nicely. In a bid to continue de-stashing, I’m now starting A Grey Loop using the leftover Bamboozle yarn from the Aria camisole I made earlier this year.
I really like this yarn but, unfortunately, the cami came out a little too wide for my taste — even though I did work a gauge swatch first and adjusted accordingly. But the yarn is lovely & silky. And it does drape beautifully. I’m going to use the variegated for the solid sections and the natural for the eyelet sections. Since I have about 50% more of the natural compared to the variegated, I’ll probably work slightly wider eyelet sections and see how it goes.
