A Miserable Monday
It’s cold and raining here. A typical UK November day.
K is still having pain. So having updated the hospital by phone, we decided that we’d try using a TENS machine on his back to see if that would help. He’s been complaining of lower back pain for a few weeks now but it never occurred to me that it could be referred pain. Doh!
He’s had it on for about 5.5 hours now. Still not sure if it’s helped but we’ll try it again tomorrow morning. At least he’s not fiddling with it (in fact, I think he’s forgotten it’s there). He should also be getting a slightly different painkiller prescription — only 1 tablet instead of 3. He’s been refusing to take the old ones.
