Not So Good
K hasn’t had a good week at all 🙁
Having done so very well with the new patches since the end of August, he suddenly had a relapse this week. 9 – 10 hours of pain every day. Needless to say, he didn’t go to school all week, so I had the weird experience of going to the (standard) parent-teacher meeting this term when he wasn’t even in school.
Fortunately, the school are still being very understanding…
Contacted the pain & sedation service (who are currently monitoring his treatment) on Tuesday to bring them up to speed on the relapse . They were supposed to call back for an update on Friday but that never happened, so I’ll be calling them again tomorrow. Fingers crossed, K will get a re-assessment soon.
