Karisma Cardigan
Given that I seem to have knitted cabled items for everyone else but me, I decided was time I made a cabled “something” for myself. I needed a new cardigan and I had 600gms of navy blue double knit/worsted in my stash, a cabled cardigan seemed to be the obvious choice.
After much searching, I settled on Karisma. Started work in early October and hit problems almost immediately.
The instructions were really confusing & hard to follow. So I took some time out to re-write the instructions to make them little clearer and pushed onwards. Got about halfway through the left side when I realised that I really didn’t like the cable pattern. It was… well… ugly.
So last week, I bit the bullet and frogged it.
I’m now working on my own pattern for a cabled cardigan. It’s being written (and re-written) as I knit. If it works out, I’ll publish it here.
