And It’s Back

The “pain holiday” is over š After about 9 or 10 weeks with very little bad stomach pain, it started to creep back in. First, it was just for an hour or so in the evening. Then it started to take over the whole evening. Finally, K was back to waking up with bad pain some mornings and missing school on the really bad days.
Re-discovering Radio

I’m becoming a big fan of BBC Radio 4 Extra — although why they renamed it from Radio 7, I don’t know. Every Saturday morning whilst drinking my first cup of coffee, I browse through all of the available comedy programmes in the BBC iPlayer app and list those that I want listen to. Then every time I sit down to knit, on goes the iPad and in go the ear plugs. Starting Christmas Early

I seem to be uber-organised at the moment. I’m knitting Christmas presents already! At least it gives me something to do at weekends whilst it’s raining all day and I’m listening to comedy shows on the radio. Since I don’t want to spoil any surprises, I can’t really say what I’m making but at least I can show off the yarn I’m using. The first is a wonderful soft double knitting yarn in a lovely shade of blue-green. I’ve completed the first part of the gift and I’m now onto the second part.
